In the final year of the MMB program, we are put into teams and given the task of finding a biotech solution to a problem and building a business model around it. We started by brainstorming 50 ideas, and have narrowed it down to a single idea to pursue and build a business around. See below for the idea my team has pursued.
FreshGaurd Time-Temperature Indicator
My capstone team is working on a project involving time-temperature indicators for poultry products. We hope that this product will allow greater confidence for consumers when purchasing poultry that their meat has been kept at the ideal temperature for consumption throughout the distribution process.
