Our
Projects
This page provides highlights of my experiences with public presentations of my work, as well as my work in a team setting. Scroll through to see some examples of my communication and teamwork skills.
Abrams Scholar and Undergraduate Researcher
During my time as an Abrams Scholar and Undergraduate Researcher for the Translational Orthopaedic Research Lab, I presented my research twice, receiving one outstanding poster award. Out of approximately 60 presenters, I was one of 4 students recognized for outstanding poster design and presentation skills. My poster can be viewed by clicking on the left image.
Biomedical Engineering Senior Design
Throughout my final year of the biomedical engineering program at NCSU, I worked alongside a group of 6 other undergraduate students to identify a problem in the medical field, research, and design and prototype a solution to our identified problem. Our final poster, presented to the public at our design symposium, can be seen below and can be viewed by clicking on the image on the left.
RNAi Course and Associated Labwork Executive Summary
During the Spring of 2025, I took an RNAi course that had a heavy focus on the lab portion of the course. After a couple of weeks of lab, we wrote an executive summary on the process and results of the lab so far in a scientific journal format to be returned and edited by our professor. My completed and edited report can be seen by clicking the image below.
CMI-BAM Mini-Practicum Project
During the first semester of the MMB program, I was assigned a team and a project to work with for 5 weeks. My team's project was focused on Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Virus (PRRSV), and was partnered with Dr. Elisa Crisci of NCSU. This was a positive experience working with a team in a fast-paced environment and project and provided many valuable insights to future team projects. Our final presentation can be seen below and viewed by clicking on the image.
